01 — About
Forms made from what remains.
Zhongguo Zheng is a sculptor based in Florida. He works with discarded materials found in everyday life—metal, wood, plastic, textiles, cardboard and foam.
As a decorative model sculptor at CGA Stoneworks in West Palm Beach, he encounters scrap wood, silicone, plaster and other remnants of the mold-making process. These materials become the starting point for new sculptural forms.

03 — Ongoing project
The Hundred
Guns Project 一百支槍計畫
The project assembles discarded timber and other reclaimed materials into a series of objects that appear strikingly weapon-like yet remain materially fragile and absurd. The work uses the symbol of the gun to examine the tensions between violence and civilization, authority and freedom.
Drawing on Arte Povera and the Chinese concept of xieyi—freehand expression—the sculptures preserve the raw condition of their materials while reconstructing them into direct, symbolic forms.
